TutorsLit is one-on-one, tutor-led, guided instruction, providing a robust learning experience across countless subjects. Built for short, standards-based, effective learning sessions.
We believe that effective instruction requires a human connection. Tutor-simulated instruction throughout the learning process, each session delivers curated instruction and guided practice with tutor and ai-assisted feedback. Meeting the needs of diverse learners, TutorsLit curriculum courseware is designed to scale across subjects, and meet both national and state standards.
Each week focuses on advancing a student's skills through three short sessions. Students meet a consistent tutor of their choosing, learn with scaffolded videos, and get immediate feedback across all interactive activities, including written and spoken responses. This is not an open-ended chatbot. All instruction has been vetted by academic professionals.
Every lesson opens with a real tutor to set purpose and build connection.
Scripted, age‑appropriate videos teach and model strategies step‑by‑step.
Multiple‑choice, drag‑and‑drop, short responses, cloze, odd word out, and more.
A scalable, learning engine for building immersive tutor‑like experiences. We can launch new products quickly while keeping the same human‑first feel and interactive activities.
Every course pairs learners with a consistent tutor persona—live‑action intros plus AI avatar instruction.
Multiple choice, short response, drag‑and‑drop, cloze, comparison organizers, and oral reading fluency. We will continue to expand our library of interactive activities.
Modular lesson engine lets us add subjects beyond reading—like Financial Literacy or SQL—without rebuilding UX.
Our tutors are real human beings who have tutored in real life. They have real aspirations. They have LinkedIn profiles. Each course features a consistent tutor who welcomes learners in recorded live action, then teaches through an AI avatar—balancing trust with scalability.
Three sessions per week with immediate feedback and progress tracking keep learners motivated without overwhelming them. The tutor is a constant presence, guiding students through their learning journey.
Research shows high‑dosage tutoring is one of the few school‑based interventions with strong gains in reading and math. According to John Hattie's Visible Learning research, peer tutoring has an effect size of 0.50, and intelligent tutoring systems has an effect size of 0.43, considered to have a desired effect on student outcomes.
According to the National Literacy Institute, “Approximately 40% of students across the nation cannot read at a basic level.” In New York state, less than half of students in grades 4th thru 7th can read at grade level. The scores in the latest NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) exam continue to show decline.
Practice types include multiple choice, short response, drag‑and‑drop, cloze, comparison organizers, and oral reading fluency. TutorsLit adapts core elements—consistency, quality materials, and immediate feedback—into a scalable digital experience.
